Hi Everyone!
My name is Kerry Coventry. I'm a singer and musician available to book for your wedding ceremony and/or drink reception.
I mainly sing Irish traditional music but also have a large repertoire of folk songs from Scotland and America. I've been lucky enough during my musical career to pick up titles for this in music competitions and have had the opportunity to share this at various music festivals and events across Ireland and in the UK and America. This isn't the only string to my singing bow though. I also have a degree in classical vocal performance from Maynooth and a Diploma in Musical Theatre and Popular Singing.
As well as singing I also play a number of instruments. I play the piano and an unusual instrument form the Appalachian mountains called an autoharp (Dolly Parton plays one!). I can also play the low whistle, all of which can be added to my solo packages which start at just €200.
For those looking for a slightly bigger sound I offer packages that include other musicians. Using this you can also include male vocals, vocal harmonies, guitar and fiddle/violin to your booking.
I'm originally from Scotland but grew up in West Donegal and am now based in Dublin. I have bases in Dublin, Donegal and Clare, again helpful in keeping travel costs low. I also do not charge for the first hour of travel.
I've been singing and weddings for over 15 years and would love to bring my passion and experience to the planning of your wedding music.
Thank you both so much for letting us play even a small part of such a special day!
